The holidays are nearly half over already, and Troy has only one more week before he has to go back to work. When he first said he was taking a month off I thought it sounded like ages, but it really doesn’t seem like he’s been at home for long at all. Although he was still not feeling well today and I was kind of mean to him about it, so he will probably be quite happy to go back to work and get away from me.

I kept plodding along with the house cleaning today. I swept all the cobwebs down on the back deck and cleaned the windows and screens on that side of the loungeroom and kitchen. There was a bunch of random stuff on the deck and I moved most of that down to the shed too. It’s surprisingly big now that it’s no longer home to a giant dog kennel, dog bed, and a random assortment of plastic crates and buckets. There’s still so much to do, but it’s going to look so lovely once it’s all done that we probably won’t even want to move.

We spoke to a couple of the Ballarat real estate agents today. We have an appointment to view the Scarborough Crescent house (fourth time lucky?) and have a second look at the Copeworth Court house on Tuesday. A different agent is trying to get us an appointment to view the Mimosa Avenue house on Monday, but we are still waiting for confirmation. The only consolation I have about this all being so difficult is that no one is all that likely to buy one of these houses out from under me before I’ve made my mind up, since they probably can’t get in to see it either.

We had a movie afternoon and watched Moana today, which was really fun. Troy has also taken to playing music videos from youtube through the chromecast, and everyone always seems to end up watching those together too. Lots of 90s hits today!
